This boom is the right choice if you are limited by space and or manpower. It deploys much faster than any other boom due to its design.- 1,000 ft (300m) can be deployed from a reel in 8-10 minutes. It complies with OPA-90, US Coast Guard - OSRO and ASTM F1523 boom guidelines. It works great for emergency response in Marinas and Ports. Available in a great range of fabrics and sizes.
BOOM SELECTION is as easy as selecting from the pictures below the body of water that resembles the one that you'll be working on. You may also choose by the product name (example: a 10" Calm Water boom works great for calm water applications and an 18" Marina boom works great for marinas. 4” Freeboard & 6” Draft. Ideal for fast response in Inland Marina’s, Rivers, ponds, lakes, canals and waterways. Available with or without a top tension cable. This boom can easily be stored, deployed and retrieved from a reel. It occupies less space & manpower and allows for a much faster deployment (1000’ in 8-10 minutes).
6” Freeboard & 6” Draft. Ideal for fast response in rivers with moderate current, ponds, lakes, canals and waterways. This boom offers a bigger freeboard which is great for dealing with splash-over. It can easily be stored, deployed and retrieved from a reel. It occupies less space and manpower and allows for a much faster deployment (1000 ft in 8-10 minutes).
6” Freeboard & 12” Draft. Ideal for fast response in Protected Ports and most inland bodies of water. This size boom (18”) is the favorite as a First Response and Contractor Emergency Response. It can easily be stored, deployed and retrieved from a reel. It occupies less space, less manpower and allows for a much faster deployment (1,000 ft in 8-10 minutes).
8” Freeboard & 16” Draft. Ideal for fast response in unprotected ports. Recommended to be stored, deployed and retrieved from a reel as it will occupy less space, less manpower and will allow for a fast deployment (1000 ft in 8-10 minutes). It offers a high freeboard that will prevent splash-over due to wind and or choppy water. The most appropriate size for port responders all throughout the world.
10” Freeboard & 20” Draft. Ideal for fast response in Coastlines and Unprotected Ports as it offers a good size freeboard and skirt depth. Adapts well to currents, tide changes and wave action. Recommended to be stored, deployed and retrieved from a reel as it will occupy less space, less manpower and will allow for a fast deployment (1000 ft in 8-10 minutes).
12” Freeboard & 24” Draft. Ideal for fast response Offshore operations such a loading or offloading. Recommended to be stored, deployed and retrieved from a reel as it will occupy less space, less manpower and will allow for a fast deployment (1000 ft in 8-10 minutes).
