12" Rough River Standard Oil Containment Boom

6” freeboard & 6” draft, 22 oz. PVC fabric, ballast chain, ASTM connectors and a top tension cable. Commonly used by oil spill responders in Central & Western United States for diverting oil spills in strong river currents. Also works great in windy conditions and choppy water as it has a bigger freeboard than the 10” oil boom.
Enviro-USA’s 12” Rough River Standard Oil Containment Boom is ideal for oil spills in rough rivers, however it will also work for the following applications: protected ports, inlets, harbors, estuaries, marinas, bays, ponds, streams, ditches, canals, brooks, creeks, swamps, lagoons, lakes, wetlands and slow Rivers.
Oil Containment Booms are used in water as a first response to an oil spill or by Spill Response Contractors to divert, control and contain an oil spill. Once the spill has been contained the contractor will then proceed to recuperate and clean up the oil.
