Steel Mesh Booms are heavy-duty floating debris barriers designed for debris exclusion, containment, and deflection in demanding water environments. They are especially useful where larger debris is present just below the surface or where currents may push debris underneath a traditional containment boom. By creating a stronger physical barrier, Steel Mesh Booms can help protect infrastructure, reduce cleanup and repair costs, and support pollution control around sensitive or high-traffic water areas.

Enviro-USA™ Steel Mesh Booms are available in 8-foot sections with a 10-inch float freeboard and skirt draft depths of 2, 3, or 4 feet. They are constructed from aluminum or stainless steel and use high-density polyethylene (HDPE) foam-filled floats for buoyancy. Float color options include orange, blue, and black.

Unlike a standard flexible boom, a Steel Mesh Boom uses a rigid aluminum or stainless steel structure with HDPE foam-filled floats. This stronger design is intended for larger or partially submerged debris and for locations where water movement can push debris under a conventional boom line.
