Tow Bridle FAQs
A Tow Bridle, also called a Floating Tow Bridle or Towing Bridle, is a marine accessory used to connect to the end of a turbidity curtain, oil containment boom, or other floating barrier so it can be safely towed and positioned in the water. The bridle distributes the towing load across the barrier rather than concentrating the pulling force at a single attachment point, helping protect the boom or curtain during deployment.
Using a Tow Bridle helps distribute towing forces more evenly across the barrier, reducing concentrated stress on connectors and other structural components. This allows turbidity curtains and oil containment booms to be moved into position more uniformly and can help reduce unnecessary wear during installation, deployment, and repositioning.

Tidal Compensator FAQs
A Tidal Compensator is a marine barrier accessory designed to allow a floating turbidity curtain, oil containment boom, or similar barrier to move vertically as water levels rise and fall. It connects the floating barrier to a fixed vertical structure and allows the connection point to travel with changing water levels, helping the barrier maintain its intended position.
A Tidal Compensator typically connects the end of the floating barrier to a vertical structure or I-beam system. As tides or water elevations change, the compensator moves vertically along the structure, allowing the attached boom or barrier to rise and fall with the water instead of remaining fixed at one elevation.
